How does the device terminal work?

Custom Donation Device Terminal

When a donor holds their mobile phone up to the device terminal, a payment page will automatically appear on their phone, prompting them to make a donation. 

Fixed Denomination Device Terminal

To donate, donors simply have to tap their card or mobile wallet on the device terminal. 

  • Plug the device terminal into a standard wall outlet or an external charged battery. 
  • Once a device terminal is powered on, it will search for the closest cell tower in the area.
  • The lights on the device terminal will cycle as it looks for connectivity and will land on a single green light once ready to connect. 
  • The device terminal beeps when someone taps it with their credit/debit card or mobile wallet.
  • Donors pay the amount they see on the device terminal.
