# What if there is poor cell service in my area?

The device terminal will work anywhere it can connect to a cell network. If you are located in an area that experiences poor cellular connection, this may impact the ability to receive successful transactions. 

Our device terminals strictly rely on cellular connectivity; if there is no network available, the device terminal will **not** default to Wi-Fi.
